The TPS543C20 features an advanced current mode (ACM) control topology with internal compensation and employs a clock-synchronized fixed frequency modulator suitable for EMI-sensitive POL applications. With an internal integrator and direct amplification ramp tracking loop, the need for external compensation across a wide frequency range is eliminated, making system design flexible, high-density, and simple. Optional API and body brake significantly reduce undershoot and overshoot, improving transient performance. The integrated NexFET MOSFET with low-loss switching achieves high efficiency and delivers up to 40A in a layout-friendly thermal pad within a 5mm x 7mm PowerStack package.
